Job Summary:
SCSS are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals with varying disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and empowerment.

Prior to commencement in this role, team members must hold or be eligible to hold: Blue Card for Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening, CPR Certificate and a valid unrestricted drivers licence.

Job Summary:
SCSS are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals with varying disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.
- Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities (not essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities.
- Relevant qualifications in disability support, healthcare, or a related field are desirable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to use and access a smart phone for clocking in/out and shift notes.
