We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Rostering Officer to join our dynamic Child, Youth and Family team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Rostering Officer to join our dynamic Child, Youth and Family team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain rosters to ensure optimal coverage and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate shift allocations, adjustments, and replacements to address any staffing needs or changes.
- Collaborate with service delivery teams, managers, and other departments to align rosters with service requirements and individual client needs.
- Process and maintain accurate records of team member availability, leave requests & timesheets in consultation with managers.
- Address and resolve any rostering-related issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, organisational policies, and legislative requirements.
- Previous experience in a rostering or scheduling role, preferably within the disability support or healthcare sector.
- Solid understanding of the SCHADS award and rostering systems; experience using Visual Care is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm on a rotating roster
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
