Children, Youth & Family Services (CYF) team members play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people are offered a safe and stable environment to reach their goals. CYF work in accordance with the Sanctuary Model of Care framework.

CYF programs operate 24/7 which includes shift work (sleepovers, weekends, and possibly awake shifts).

As a Residential Care Worker, you may work with young people to:
- Plan and attend activities or appointments
- Support and manage their behaviours
- Use daily routines to provide hands on training for life skills such as cooking, personal care and budgeting
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the house
- You will also complete daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports
CYF programs operate 24/7 which includes shift work (sleepovers, weekends, and possibly awake shifts).
Requirements prior to commencement:
- Blue Card for Working with Children (currently hold or be eligible to apply for)
- NDIS Worker Screening (currently hold or be eligible to apply for)
- Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2)
- Hold or be willing to enrol into a Cert 4 or higher recognised qualification
- Driver’s licence (P2 minimum)
- Hope & Healing modules
- Smartphone with internet access
- CPR Certificate (willing to obtain)
