About the Role:
As an On-Call Officer, you will be the first point of contact for staff managing incidents and unpredictable events outside normal managerial hours. Your leadership will ensure best-practice standards are upheld while supporting the safety and wellbeing of staff, young people, and NDIS participants during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive support, guidance, and debriefing to Residential Care Workers (RCWs) and NDIS Support Workers during after-hours incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with therapeutic and safety plans, policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Oversee critical incident reporting and property maintenance needs arising outside of hours.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as Child Safety After Hours and Emergency Services.
  • Deliver coaching and role modelling in applying Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) principles.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in the Human Services/Community Services sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work after-hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
  • Blue Card for Working with Children (or eligibility to apply).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and LCS2 (or eligibility to apply).
