Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and organised NDIS Intake Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for participants and their families, assisting them through the intake process and ensuring they receive the necessary support and information about our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and gather relevant information from NDIS participants and their families.
- Provide clear and accurate information about NDIS services and processes.
- Collaborate with support coordinators and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with NDIS requirements.
- Assist participants in completing necessary paperwork and navigating the NDIS portal.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about NDIS policies and updates to provide the best support.
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in the disability or health sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS and its processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in using computer systems and databases.
- Eligible for or possess a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
