About The Role:

Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a full-time Customer Service Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm and will be located in our Beenleigh Office. Our Beenleigh Office is fast paced and ever changing. There is always something new to learn and we encourage empathy, active listening, curiosity, problem solving and critical thinking to achieve the best experience for our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Officer, you will deliver a high level of service as a first point of contact for customers. You will provide professional, accurate and timely customer service regarding our operations through multiple channels whilst always maintaining confidentiality of customer information. Responsibilities for this role include:
  • First point of contact for visitors into our reception and crib
  • Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence
  • Transferring of calls as necessary
  • Management of meeting room bookings
  • Preparation of meeting rooms as required and requested
  • Management of office supplies including stationary
  • Performing ad-hoc administration duties
  • Receiving and distribution of any deliveries
  • Preparation and posting of outgoing mail
  • Assist with photocopying, binding and laminating as required
Key Skills & About You:
  • Demonstrated previous experience in Customer Service (within the Community Services sector will be highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to build rapport with a variety of people
  • Ability to work both independently but also within a team environment
  • Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web-based applications
  • Pleasant phone manner with an ability to remain calm and empathetic
  • Must hold a valid drivers licence
