Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Case Manager with strong people management skills to join our team. This role involves not only direct support and case management for young people but also overseeing and guiding a team of residential care workers. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading a team, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that our young people receive the highest level of care and support.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Case Manager with strong people management skills to join our team. This role involves not only direct support and case management for young people but also overseeing and guiding a team of residential care workers. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading a team, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that our young people receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a team of residential care workers, including conducting regular supervisions and fostering a supportive team environment.
- Develop, manage & review individualised plans for young people, addressing their specific needs and goals.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, stakeholders, government agencies and community partners to ensure a cohesive approach to youth support.
- Undertake necessary mandatory reporting and other administrative tasks to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Attend and participate in regular supervision, team meetings, stakeholder meetings, and inter-agency meetings.
- Provide direct care support by completing shifts as needed, ensuring continuity of care and support for the young people.
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education etc.
- Proven experience in youth services management, including program oversight and staff supervision.
- Thorough understanding of Child Protection principles and experience working with government and non-government agencies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team along with manage conflicts and complaints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
