CRUX are looking for a Quality Officer with a mind for compliance to be based at our Bundaberg office!
CRUX Management Services (CRUX) provide people, compliance, and corporate services to a select number of companies in the disability and child safety sector across QLD.
About this opportunity:
The Quality business unit plays a crucial role in ensuring other business units adhere to the Human Services Quality Framework, NDIS Practice Standards and relevant law and regulations. The Quality Officer is responsible for maintaining databases of documents together with Quality Management Systems/Framework and will provide assistance with implementation, evaluation of quality, continuous improvement and risk processes.

Key responsibilities of this role:
- Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System & Quality Department Tools including; Compliance Register, Conflict of Interest Register, Continuous Improvement Register, Feedback, Concerns & Complaints Register, Legislation Register, Property, Lease & Tenancy Register and Quality Documentation Register
- Ensure the related policies, operational procedures and work instructions are comprehensive and up to date in line with current legislation, regulations, organisational requirements and best practice guidelines
- Provide technical assistance in the form of policy structure, developing, formatting and reviewing of documents and work instructions
- Work with relevant stakeholders to undertake internal compliance audits.
- Lead and assist teams to prepare for external accreditation audits.
- Previous experience in a similar quality or compliance role
- Relevant professional qualification in quality or administration (desirable)
- Previous experience within the Child Safety, NDIS or Aged Care sectors (desirable)
- Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email and web-based applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in writing reports, policy and procedure documents.
- Experience/understanding of quality processes including auditing and continuous improvement.
