As a Behaviour Support Practitioner with SCSS, you’ll deliver evidence-based clinical guidance and play a key role in transforming lives. We work with clients of all ages, all diagnoses, and all behaviours to create supportive, growth-focused environments while reducing restrictive practices.

- Developing & implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (both interim and comprehensive), sometimes including restrictive practices.
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and crafting tailored, person-centred strategies that enhance clients’ quality of life.
- Collaborating with stakeholders & allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary approach (because teamwork makes the dream work!).

- NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission suitability – registered as a proficient practitioner or above.
- Current driver’s licence – because you’ll need to get places!
- Working with Children’s Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be willing to obtain one).
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – collaboration is key!
- Critical thinking & problem-solving skills – because every challenge has a solution.
- A proactive, motivated mindset – we love people who take initiative.
- NDIS registration as a proficient practitioner or above.
- A degree in allied health, social science, or behavioural science (or currently studying towards one).
- 12+ months experience providing positive behaviour support with challenging behaviours.
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles, methodologies, NDIS, and DSA 2006 legislations.
