Client Story - Jillian

The photos above were captured by Jillian, one of our very inspirational clients in Mackay. Jillian has been through a lot recently, undergoing an above knee amputation on her leg. There was some complications that came with the surgery, but it never stopped Jillian from being determined to accomplish.

Her home is filled with all sorts of hobbies from wool spinning and weaving on looms, to building and upcycling various items. One of Jillian's pastimes was fire spinning, as seen in the photo on the left, but due to her recent surgery she has been unable to visit the beach. The team in Mackay are working hard to get Jillian back on the beach so that she can enjoy one of her favourite hobbies again.

Jillian is such a true inspiration to the team! She has been through so much and no matter what she continues to strive for her independence.
