Campout for a Cause

We were delighted to be invited by the Campout for a Cause team in Bundaberg to join them this year for their inaugural campaign to raise money to provide basic bedding for those in our community who do not have the privilege to sleep under a roof at night. The latest figures suggest that more than 116,000 people in Australia alone are experiencing homelessness.

Our hopes initially were to raise enough money to purchase 10 Backpack beds to support people within our local community. In total our SCSS family have now raised enough money to purchase 40 beds to contribute to a combined Campout for a Cause team effort of 98.
