Bluesummer Properties Project - Bundaberg

For those who aren't aware or are new to our organisation Southern Cross Support Services has partnered with Bluesummer Properties and together are focussing on how important the right property is for their participants. Bluesummer specialise in modifying existing properties to suit participants and maximise the efficiency of their support and independence.

Bluesummer Properties currently has several Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) projects under construction and can custom build SDA for participants across Queensland. Their newest project, located in Bundaberg, will be a block of four units which will be its first custom-designed disability housing in the area.

A development application was recently lodged with Bundaberg Regional Council for the construction of a block of units which will provide a 'forever home' for four clients. The units would include the latest technology as well as video monitoring at entrances and emergency buttons throughout to ensure client safety. They will have integrated overnight support rooms which workers can use as often as required. The units are also capable of being retrofitted with ceiling hoists and rails should they be needed in future.
